Installation Guide

As shown in the picture, a cold pilger mill mainly consists of the following parts: 1) the main rolling mechanism, 2) main transmission system, 3) tube billet feeding mechanism, 4) Rotating feeding mechanism, 5) power distribution mechanism, 6) core bar mechanism, 7) lubrication system , 8) hydraulic system, 9) electrical system.

Machine Installation Sequence
Installation sequence of cold pilger mill depends on the characteristics and connecting modes of the machine.

You should firstly install the main rolling mechanism and then install the tube billet feeding mechanism, rotating feeding mechanism, core bar mechanism, main transmission system, power distribution mechanism, material loading mechanism, material unloading mechanism, lubrication system, hydraulic system, pneumatic system and electrical system.

After installing the main rolling mechanism, you can also install the rest parts along two routes.
1. The first route is to install the parts backward along the rolling center line (tube billet feeding mechanism, rotating feeding mechanism, core bar mechanism, main transmission system, power distribution mechanism, material loading mechanism).

2. The other route is firstly to install the parts along the transmission center line (flywheel mechanism, main retarder, main motor) and then install the material unloading mechanism forward along the rolling center line.

3. Finally, you can install the lubrication system, hydraulic system, pneumatic system and electrical system.

The mechanical parts must be installed according to the fixed sequence. While the installation of lubrication system, hydraulic system and pneumatic system do not need to follow a fixed sequence. The electrical system is usually installed at the last step.
